God’s signature in the Natural World and in our Lives.

He will be discussing Science and link it to daily gospel living. There is so much in science that “denotes that there is a God” and Brother Leavitt will be discussing that connection.

Aug 21 Activity – Sloopy Joe’s in the park

On Saturday August 21st at 2 PM we will meet in Glenfield Meadow which is in Fish Creek Park.

There is an area of the park designated as unreserved. A picnic table in this area is where we be. We should be easy to find.

Meal provided: Sloppy joes and salads provided.

Biking is possible if you bring a bike.

Please bring a dessert to share – Homemade or store bought.

Bring a Chair for yourself and maybe a Frisbee / games / board games.

We will meet in the parking lot at Griffith Woods Park at 10:30.

Please bring a lunch, maybe some water for during the walking and dress for the weather. We will meet in parking lot and choose a trail or trails to go through. After the walking we will all find somewhere to stop and eat our lunches. The trails are not tough or exhausting.

As you can see from the below map, the park is west of the intersection of Sarcee Trail and Glenmore Trail.

Please come out and enjoy an easy walk with friends and socialize. Covid did not allow enough Socializing.

We are starting to have meetings and activities in person instead of just ZOOM.

This fireside will be held at 935 Heritage Drive SW on Sunday July 18th at 7 PM in the CHAPEL.

Brad Sorenson will be speaking on FAITH and his experiences dealing with his son’s CANCER.

For anyone that is still concerned about COVID-19, we will be broadcasting the fireside VIA zoom.

Everyone is welcome to attend in person and MASKS are no longer required in public buildings. But you can wear one if you wish to do so.

Activities are also being planned to start on July 24th with a hike. Look for a separate post soon for this.
